The Zahan Kinship tree monogram

Our Story

Born from the same ground as Zahan Earth Group, grown into something of its own.

A steward listening closely to a candidate over tea, giving them their full attention

We watched the hiring process become something people dreaded on both sides. Candidates learned to speak fluent résumé, burying who they actually were under keywords built for a parser. Companies posted roles into an inbox that filled with hundreds of applications that all sounded the same, and still couldn't find the person they actually needed.

Zahan Kinship began inside Zahan Earth Group, watching this play out across every venture in the collective, a studio here, a workshop there, all needing people who cared as much about the work as the founders did, and finding that the usual hiring channels couldn't tell them apart from anyone else. So we built the process we wished existed: one steward, reading one application at a time, looking for fit instead of a match score.

That's still how it works today. Every candidate is read by a person. Every company we work with publishes a real salary range before a role goes live. Every application, whatever the outcome, gets an answer inside 48 hours. None of this is because it's efficient; efficiency was never the point.

Kinship is a stewardship of Zahan Earth Group, not a separate ambition; the same ground that grows Fivespace World's buildings and Safa Zahan's interiors and ArtMansion's paintings also grows this. We don't fill seats. We grow roots.

In Practice

What our values look like in a hiring process

Rooted Integrity

We publish salary ranges before you have to ask, and we tell you honestly when a role isn't right. Nothing about how Kinship works is hidden from the people it's meant to serve.

Radical Care

Every applicant hears back: an interview, a gentle no, or an honest “not yet.” Forty-eight hours, every time. No one is left wondering.

Humble Growth

We'd rather make one right introduction than ten fast ones. Fit at twelve months is the only metric that has ever mattered to us.

Collective Kinship

We're not a database matching keywords. We're a small group of stewards who read every profile, and every job, as belonging to a real person and a real team.
